Protesters demand Buhari’s resignation on Independence day

Protesters in Abuja has taken to Dantata Bridge, Airport Road in Abuja to demand the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari today on Nigeria’s 61st independence day.

However, Nigerian police officers have stopped the protests firing tear gas canisters and using other violent measures.

The scattered protesters may or may not reconvene at the same or different location.
