Could Prince Harry be a Netflix agent? A former confidante of his mother appears to hold this opinion.
David Emmanuel, the designer of Princess Diana’s wedding dress, believes that the Duke of Sussex, age 38, should be searched for a wire if he attends King Charles’ coronation in May.
During an interview with GB News, the fashion designer speculated that Harry may be gathering information for the streaming service in preparation for future docuseries.
“I hope he is searched before entering this country,” Emmanuel stated. Since he could be connected to Netflix, let’s be honest. Whatever is said, he will return it to Netflix and write more stories.”
In 2020, Harry and Meghan Markle signed a multimillion-dollar, multiyear agreement with Netflix to create content for the streaming giant.
Last year, the couple was also compensated $100 million for their docuseries “Harry & Meghan.”
In 1981, Emanuel and his ex-wife Elizabeth designed the late Princess of Wales’ ivory wedding dress for her nuptials.
The official coronation of King Charles is scheduled for later this spring, and there has been much speculation regarding Harry and the 41-year-old former “Suits” star.
According to a source who spoke to Page Six on Monday, invitations for the royal event have not been sent out, but the two will be on the guest list.
“It’s still very early, no one has been invited yet,” said the source.
A separate eyewitness told the Mirror earlier this week that Harry and Markle are still undecided about attending the coronation.
Harry’s father and his estranged brother Prince William have not yet communicated with the couple regarding their presence.
The royal family’s relationship with Harry and Markle has been contentious since their departure from the United Kingdom in 2020, and especially since Harry’s memoir “Spare” was published last month. In the book, he revealed numerous explosive details about royal life, including accounts of alleged private physical altercations with William.
However, according to the source, Harry hopes to speak with Charles, 74, and William, 40, before flying to England.
“He will not attend if he believes the atmosphere will be as poisonous as it was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral,” said a source.
He has stated that he wants to reconcile with his family, but so far nothing has changed.
