Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece, affectionately known as Achi, turned 25 on Tuesday, and his family made sure to mark the milestone with heartfelt tributes across social media.

The celebrations came just weeks after his sister Maria-Olympia celebrated her 29th birthday, keeping the royal family in the spotlight this summer.

Family Posts Overflow with Love

Achi’s parents and siblings flooded Instagram with touching messages.

His father, Crown Prince Pavlos, shared a photo of Achi on a yacht, sporting shades, a crisp white shirt, and red shorts, alongside the caption: “Happy Birthday Achilea always stand strong.”

His mother, Marie-Chantal Miller, posted a sweet message calling him her “number 3” and wishing him a wonderful year ahead: “love you mucho mucho.”

She also shared a Story showing Achi’s birthday cake adorned with candles, capturing the intimate family moment.

Siblings Join the Celebration

Achi’s siblings made sure their voices were heard, too.

Maria-Olympia, the eldest, shared two Stories: one showing her brother in a red shirt and sunglasses with a simple “Happy birthday,” and another showing the pair together, captioned with “ilysm [I love you so much].”

Odysseas-Kimon, aged 20, posted a Story featuring himself with Achi, writing: “Happy birthday @achi_of_greece I love you very much, have the best day ever.”

Even the youngest, Aristidis-Stavros, shared a sunset shot of Achi on a boat with the words: “Happy birthday to my amazing brother @achi_of_greece, I love you so much.”

A Life Between Continents

Born in New York, Achi has spent his life between the US and the UK.

He attended school in Berkshire before pursuing performing arts at New York University.

Recently dubbed one of Tatler’s “hottest unknown princes,” he is also carving out a career as an actor, blending royal duties with personal ambitions.

Royal Roots and Modern Realities

Although Achi is part of the Greek Royal Family, the monarchy lost official status in 1974 following a referendum that established a republican constitution.

The family lived in exile in England for decades, especially after King Constantine II and his relatives were stripped of Greek citizenship in 1994 amid disputes over property and claims to the throne.

Regaining Greek Citizenship

In December last year, a significant change arrived: Greek citizenship was restored to 10 members of the former royal family, including Achi and his four siblings.

Crown Prince Pavlos shared the announcement on Instagram in both Greek and English, expressing deep emotion:

“It is with deep emotion that, after 30 years, we hold the Greek citizenship again.

The law of 1994 deprived us of our citizenship, rendering us stateless with all that this entails in terms of individual rights and great emotional distress… The passing of our father marked the end of an era.”

For Achi and his family, this milestone adds an extra layer of meaning to the young prince’s 25th birthday, blending celebration with a reconnection to their homeland.
