Police Arrest Two Suspects on Suspicion of Involuntary Manslaughter Following Elderly Woman’s Death Outside Lidl in Stourport-on-Severn

A shocking and heartbreaking event unfolded outside a Lidl supermarket in Stourport-on-Severn, near Kidderminster, West Midlands, when an elderly woman tragically lost her life following an alleged attack.

Another pensioner was also injured in the chaotic altercation that took place last Wednesday afternoon.

Arrests Made After Violent Clash at Supermarket Car Park

Police have arrested two individuals—a 67-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman—on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter after the 71-year-old woman involved in the incident sadly passed away the day following the attack.

Initially, both suspects were held on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, but those charges were upgraded once the victim died.

The incident reportedly happened sometime between 4pm and 8pm on Wednesday outside the Lidl store on Vale Road.

Alongside the woman who later died, a 65-year-old man was also injured during the confrontation. Both victims were reportedly assaulted before leaving the scene.
