Additionally, he added five more titles to his name during his tenure with Egyptian giants, Al Ahly, before clinching the Saudi Arabian First Division title with Al Ahli.

His tenure at Al Ahly saw him claim two CAF Champions League titles, the Egyptian Cup, and two CAF Super Cup victories.
