Friday, 04 February 2022 – Flamboyant Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho, married Madina Giovanni Fazzini on February 11, 2011, in a low-key Muslim wedding.
When he married her, he was the MP for Kisauni and the wedding was attended by friends and family members.
She was 21 years old when she got married to Joho.
Madina, who is born of an Italian father and Somali mother, is in the process of divorcing her estranged husband, nearly 11 years after they got married.
She filed a case at the Kadhi court seeking to divorce Joho, claiming their marriage is irreparable.
She claimed in the divorce suit that in June 2013, Joho moved out of his matrimonial home and left her to take care of their kids single-handedly.
