New photos reveal the extensive damage to a Beverly Hills home after Pete Davidson and Chase Sui Wonders crashed into it on Saturday night.
In the pictures taken on the night of the crash, Davidson, wearing a hoodie and blue jacket, can be seen talking to officers at the scene and handing over some paperwork.
He appeared pale while trying to explain to authorities what had happened. Reports suggest that Davidson lost control of his vehicle after hitting a fire hydrant at high speed, causing the car to fly into the side of a residential home at an intersection.
The collision caused some of the home’s siding to break and push inward, with some wood panels falling off, and the living room window popping out of its frame. Before hitting the home, Davidson also drove over the garden and a small tree.
The accident left Davidson’s car totaled, with the entire left bumper destroyed and the driver-side window and front windshield shattered. Deep tire tracks and car parts scattered throughout the yard have yet to be cleared.
While the airbags deployed, saving the couple from serious injuries, a 16-year-old girl who was in the home at the time of the crash was reportedly traumatized but physically unharmed.
Her father told TMZ that she was home alone reading and thought the crash was an earthquake. Davidson and Wonders, who co-starred in the 2022 horror-comedy film “Bodies Bodies Bodies,” issued an apology to the family, who decided not to sue the actors.
The investigation is still ongoing, but Beverly Hills police confirmed that Davidson also damaged city property, the fire hydrant, which spewed gallons of water into the street.
According to The Post, cops confirmed that Davidson had been driving at a high rate of speed around 11 p.m on Saturday night before jumping a curb and skidding into the home.
Davidson and Wonders, who had recently returned from a Hawaiian vacation together in January, had been dating for a few months and were said to be getting serious before the crash. Sources told Page Six that the pair’s romance grew out of their long-time friendship.
