When you think of Jordan Mailata, the first thing that probably comes to mind is his impressive career as an offensive tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles, or maybe his Super Bowl win.
However, what fans may not know is that Mailata has a secret talent—he can sing, and boy, can he sing!
A Stunning Performance Backstage
On Saturday night, Mailata took his talents beyond the football field and surprised everyone at the Chris Stapleton concert.
While the country music legend was performing at Lincoln Financial Field, Mailata had a chance to show off his vocal chops.
He took to TikTok to share a video of himself backstage, where he serenaded the crowd with a jaw-dropping rendition of Stapleton’s hit song “Tennessee Whiskey.”
The surprise performance left everyone in awe, including Mailata’s former teammate Jason Kelce, who was among the VIPs backstage.
Even Chris Stapleton himself was impressed, giving Mailata a handshake of approval after the impromptu performance.
More Than Just a Football Star
While his football career is clearly going strong, Mailata has also been known to dabble in music.
His singing talent isn’t exactly new—he’s regularly featured on the Philadelphia Eagles’ charity Christmas album alongside Kelce and other teammates.
Mailata’s musical talents even earned him a spot on the popular TV show The Masked Singer, where he competed as “Thingamabob” during season 7.
To top it off, he’s also part of a musical group called The Philly Specials, which he formed with Kelce and Lane Johnson.
A Day of Friendship and Support
After his big night at the concert, Mailata didn’t slow down.
The very next day, he was seen supporting his friend and PGA Tour star, Tony Finau, showing that his off-the-field friendships are just as strong as his professional ones.
Meanwhile, Jason Kelce spent his Sunday enjoying a heartfelt Mother’s Day lunch with his family, including his brother Travis, wife Kylie, and even Taylor and Andrea Swift.
A weekend full of celebrations, good company, and even better music!
