Phil Mphela calls out ‘The Queen’ for repeating scenes for weeks on end

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela has lambasted Mzansi Magic’s The Queen for playing the same scenes for weeks on end.
This is after viewers of the telenovela complained about the poor storylines on the show since the exits of SK Khoza and Cindy Mahlangu.

REPETITIVE SCENES IN ‘THE QUEEN’   

Viewers of The Queen and Phil Mphela are calling out the show for playing the same scenes with minor changes for several weeks.
Mphela tweeted:

“#TheQueenMzansi are you aware your episodes have been playing the same scenes for two weeks with just minor changes.”
“The same conversations doing the same thing.”
“The story is not moving forward. Come on. Let’s move!”

His tweet has received nearly a thousand retweets and has sparked debate among viewers of the telenovela.
Fans have been complaining about the dull storylines for weeks and have requested for Mzansi Magic to cancel the show.

CURRENT STORYLINE  

Viewers have been watching the Khozas arguing with Norma about Goodness, Kagiso (Loyiso McDonald), and taking Mvelo from Goodness for two weeks.
Goodness (Zenande Mfenyane) was in a coma from a car accident, then woke up and slipped back into the coma.
The Sebatas have also been struggling to come to terms with Vuyiswa’s decision to have a baby for weeks.
Vuyiswa (Zandile Msutwana) fell pregnant but is now opting to have an abortion because her husband doesn’t kids anymore.

VIEWERS REACT TO PHIL MPHELA’S TWEET  

Fans of the show have asked the production company – Ferguson Films to request actress Rami Chuene to return to the show to play the role of Tgom Mabuza.
Viewers also agree that the show has gotten worse since SK Khoza exited the show for the second time last year (2021).
SK played the role of Shaka Khoza alongside Themba Ndaba who played his uncle – Brutus Khoza.
