Peter Andre and Wife Emily Celebrate His Lead Role as Greek Pathologist in Channel 5 Show While Posing Happily at Glitzy Event in London

Peter Andre and his wife Emily made a stylish appearance on Wednesday as they stepped out to mark the singer’s latest career move.

The couple, who have often shared glimpses of their happy life together, looked thrilled as they posed for photos at the Channel 5 event, with Emily proudly posting snapshots on Instagram the following day.

From Singer to Greek Pathologist

Peter, 52, will take on the lead role of a Greek pathologist in his upcoming show, The Sunshine Murders.

The project, led by Anglo-Antipodean filmmakers Merryn and Emily Corcoran, was filmed in Peter’s parents’ homeland of Cyprus, including locations in Paphos and Larnaca near Kiti, where he still owns a villa.

Emily, 35, has been his biggest cheerleader, wearing a striking maroon two-piece suit as she supported her husband.

She has also stood by him amid ongoing tensions with his ex-wife, Katie Price, who sparked controversy last month with claims about their children, Junior and Princess, living equally between both parents.

Past Controversy Resurfaces

Peter’s team previously portrayed him as a patient, devoted father following his split from Katie in 2009, but old footage from their ITV show resurfaced, painting a more complicated picture.

In clips shared online, Peter can be seen mocking Katie and blaming her for domestic mishaps, including one particularly intense tirade captured during a US trip.

He has also faced criticism for making ableist remarks about his former stepson Harvey, comparing him to a character from the comedy show Little Britain.

Despite the resurfaced footage, Peter has addressed his “saintly” image in interviews, emphasizing that nobody is perfect and that people form their impressions over time.

Princess Andre Focuses on Her Own Journey

Meanwhile, Princess, Peter and Katie’s daughter, is charting her own path as a TikTok star with her new ITV2 show, The Princess Diaries.

She recently revealed she was upset about being allegedly barred from filming certain scenes, but emphasized that any issues with her parents are handled privately.

Princess told the Daily Mail that she does not see a rift between her and either parent and prefers to stay out of the public feud.

She explained that engaging in their arguments “isn’t worth it” and that she communicates with her mother when necessary without drama.

Family Milestones and Celebrations

Amid career launches and media scrutiny, Peter also shared a heartwarming family moment: his parents’ 70th wedding anniversary.

Posting a collage of his mum and dad, Peter highlighted the congratulatory letter they received from the King, writing:

“I prayed for this moment. They made it. 70 years of marriage for the most incredible parents.

Mum and dad, we love you more than words can describe. Please may Jehovah bless you both.

Thank you for being such an inspiration. Two of a kind. I am smiling thinking of you. See you both very very soon.”

Upcoming Show Details

The Sunshine Murders will feature guest stars including Stephanie Beacham, Camilla Rutherford, and Nick Moran, and is set to air on Channel 5 in September, marking an exciting new chapter in Peter Andre’s career.
