Life has definitely changed for actress Patsy Kensit, once known for her wild, rockstar-filled twenties.
Fast forward to today, and the 57-year-old was spotted in London looking worlds apart from her party-girl days—this time wearing a floral dress and nursing a broken shoulder in a sling.
Injury Revealed Ahead of Big Gig Weekend
Just a day before her ex-husband Liam Gallagher is set to reunite with his brother Noel for the long-awaited Oasis reunion tour, Patsy took to Instagram to reveal she had fractured her shoulder in three places.
The actress, known for her role in Emmerdale and various films, didn’t go into details about how the injury happened, but she shared the news ahead of her appearance at Fawlty Towers: The Play in London.
Posting a photo with her arm cradled in a sling, she wrote:
“I broke my shoulder in 3 places 3 weeks ago!!! I’m healing and a slight boogie with my besties I’m staying with this week will be a tonic for sure… Have a great weekend.”
A Bit of Nostalgia and a Hint of Support
Despite the pain, Patsy hinted that the highly-anticipated Oasis gig in Cardiff could help lift her spirits.
It’s a significant moment considering her history with the band—especially Liam.
The two married back in 1997 and share a son, Lennon, now 25.
Their marriage ended shortly after Liam’s affair with Lisa Moorish, which led to the birth of his daughter Molly.
Recently, Patsy made it clear she didn’t want to be dragged back into the conversation about her ex-husband.
At a Burberry event last September, where she attended alongside Lennon and Noel’s daughter Anais, she told fans:
“No more questions—it was 25 years ago.”
Still, earlier in the week she posted a rare supportive message on Instagram:
“I’m really happy for Liam and Noel.
I’m sure the tour is going to be thrilling and I send nothing but love and light to them both…”
Oasis Fever Takes Over the UK
As the Gallagher brothers gear up for their first concert in 15 years at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Oasis fever is hitting a boiling point.
Fans have been camping overnight to get spots, and ticket prices have reached dizzying highs.
Some resell tickets, originally priced at £489, are now going for as much as £2,500.
Viagogo listed multiple tickets over £1,000, and reported that more than 34,000 people had viewed Friday’s concert page.
Even Saturday’s show is seeing a price surge.
Unfortunately, with the hype comes a dark side—scams.
Lloyds Bank estimates that Oasis fans have lost over £2 million to fraudulent sellers since tickets went on sale.
Over half of all ticket scams reported to the bank this year involved Oasis concerts, with the average fan losing around £436.
One fan reportedly lost more than £1,700 in a single scam.
TV Tribute Misses the Mark
Meanwhile, ITV’s This Morning tried to jump on the Oasis bandwagon—but viewers weren’t impressed.
Hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary kicked off Friday’s episode by lip-syncing to “Wonderwall,” decked out in Liam-style bucket hats, green parkas, and sunglasses.
They even hyped the band’s reunion with lines like:
“Oasis fans, you can stop crying your hat out because Liam and Noel have officially decided to stop looking back in anger.”
But social media wasn’t having it. Viewers jumped on X (formerly Twitter) to complain, calling the segment “cringe,” “overdone,” and accused ITV of giving Oasis free publicity on every show.
One user wrote:
“@ITV why do you do this? You pick a subject, today it’s Oasis, and you rinse it across every single show.”
Moving On, But the Past Still Echoes
While Patsy Kensit is healing both physically and emotionally, her connection to the Gallagher legacy remains a point of curiosity for fans.
Though she’s clearly moved on and is embracing the present, her past—just like Oasis’ discography—isn’t something people forget easily.
As for the Oasis reunion, whether you love it, loathe it, or cringe at it on morning TV, there’s no denying—it’s a big moment in British music history.
