Orlando Pirates receives significant and timely boost

The Orlando Pirates could need some good news at the moment, and they have received an encouraging update on the injury front.

Goodman Mosele, a 23-year-old center midfielder, will be eligible for the Sea Robbers’ weekend match against Golden Arrows, per Bucs boss Jose Riveiro. It’s an appropriate lift for Riveiro. Alongside Miguel Timm, Mosele was an integral part of the Pirates’ midfield.

In his absence, Pirates’ central theme park location has lacked cohesiveness. Ben Motshwari, Fortune Makaringe, and Thabang Monare have all been utilized alongside Timm with varying degrees of success.

The Pirates are 21 points behind the league-leading Sundowns at the midpoint of the season. The Buccaneers are winless in their previous five games and must return to winning in order to boost morale in the locker room. They will not win the championship this season, but they still intend to finish in the top three and secure continental football for Mayfair.
