After already releasing nearly a full line-up of players, it looks like Orlando Pirates are far from finished with their squad overhaul.

Under head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou, the club appears to be making bold moves as they shape the team for the upcoming season—and five more current stars could be the next to walk out of Mayfair.

Five More Players Could Be Shown the Exit

The latest group of names potentially heading for the door includes:

  • Goodman Mosele

  • Katlego Otladisa

  • Siphelo Baloni

  • Deivi Miguel Vieira (also known as Gilberto)

  • Relebohile Mofokeng

Each player’s situation is a bit different, but the common thread is clear—change is in the air at Pirates.

Mosele Headed for Loan Move to Chippa United

Midfielder Goodman Mosele looks set to be loaned out to Chippa United, one of Pirates’ PSL rivals.

According to Phakaaathi, the deal is already done:

“He’s not the only one from Pirates that will be loaned to Chippa, but I can tell you for sure that Goodman has been shipped to Chippa.”

At just 25, Mosele still has time to rebuild and potentially earn his way back into the Pirates squad—if his loan spell goes well.

And the report hints that he’s not going alone.

It’s possible more Pirates players will follow him to Chippa.

Three More Faces Likely to Leave Mayfair

According to The South African, Otladisa, Baloni, and Gilberto are also facing exits.

Whether those will be permanent transfers or loan deals remains to be seen, but it’s clear that Pirates are trimming the fat and perhaps preparing to bring in fresh talent.

Full Team Worth of Departures as Exit List Grows

So far, 10 players have already left the club.

If even one or two more from the current five exit candidates are confirmed, Pirates will have moved on from more than a full starting XI this off-season. That’s a significant shift for any club.

It’s part of what looks like a massive reset by Ouaddou and his technical team, who are clearly determined to rebuild and refocus the squad.

Mofokeng Set for Big-Money Move to Al-Ettifaq

Perhaps the biggest name in this list is Relebohile Mofokeng, and it sounds like a major international move is on the cards for the 19-year-old.

According to KickOff, a deal has been agreed between Orlando Pirates and Al-Ettifaq—the Saudi Arabian club currently managed by Steven Gerrard.

The reported offer is around R31 million, which would be a huge payday for the Bucs.

However, the club has yet to make an official confirmation.

Fans Left Wondering Who Should Stay or Go

With so many names in flux, fans are naturally questioning the club’s direction.

Who should stay and fight for a place? Who deserves a loan for more experience? And who should the club part ways with for good?
