Orlando Bloom enjoys cocktails and poolside

After reportedly parting ways with pop star Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom has been soaking up the Venetian sun and enjoying some quality time with his A-list pals.

On Friday, just hours before Jeff Bezos’s highly anticipated wedding, the actor joined a group of famous faces for a laid-back day of swimming, drinks, and laughter at one of the most luxurious spots in town.

A Boys’ Day at the Cipriani Before the Big “I Do”

Orlando was spotted hanging poolside at the Hotel Cipriani, a five-star retreat in Venice known for its exclusive clientele and jaw-dropping views of San Giorgio island—where Bezos’ wedding would later take place.

Joining him were Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, Scooter Braun, and Edward Enninful.

The crew kept things low-key but looked relaxed and in great spirits.

Brady, 47, took full advantage of the pool, knocking out multiple laps with goggles on, while DiCaprio, now 50, kept a low profile with a cap at the bar.

Orlando, 48, looked at ease in the company of his friends, perhaps finding some much-needed distraction from his recent split.

From Luxury Lounging to Wedding Celebrations

Although the celebrity crew wasn’t staying at the Cipriani (they’re lodging nearby at the five-star Gritti Palace), they made a pit stop for some downtime.

Known for its Michelin-starred food and the largest swimming pool in Venice, the Cipriani is a frequent stop for Hollywood royalty—Brad Pitt reportedly won’t stay anywhere else in the city.

It’s not a cheap stay either. Rooms start around £2,500 a night, and at least 30 of Bezos’s wedding guests were booked there over the weekend.

A Freshly Single Orlando Mixes and Mingles

Orlando’s day of fun came just ahead of his appearance at what many have dubbed the wedding of the year.

Since his split from Katy, the Lord of the Rings actor has been spotted socializing at several of the wedding-related events.

He’s been seen chatting with celebrity stylist Jamie Mizrahi, known for working with Meghan Markle, and even Kim Kardashian.

If there were any breakup blues, he certainly didn’t show it.

Katy Perry’s Absence at the Wedding Raises Eyebrows

Interestingly, Katy Perry, who has long been close friends with bride Lauren Sánchez, was noticeably absent from the wedding.

The two women have shared public affection in the past, and Lauren even mentioned missing Katy in an Instagram post just hours before the ceremony.

Katy’s no-show comes amid reports that her career is going through a rocky phase.

Her latest album, 143, failed to impress both fans and critics.

Meanwhile, her recent trip to space with Blue Origin (also owned by Bezos) raised eyebrows, with many labeling it “tone deaf” given its environmental cost and lavish price tag.

A Rocky Moment in Katy’s Career

The space trip, intended as a historic all-female flight, didn’t exactly win over the public.

Katy, clad in a blue jumpsuit, carried a daisy in honor of her daughter Daisy and even serenaded her fellow passengers mid-flight.

But many on social media weren’t buying the inspirational tone—some called it “embarrassing.”

To make matters worse, her Lifetimes Tour has been plagued by poor ticket sales, cancelled dates, and a flood of online criticism.

As Katy continues her tour in Australia, Orlando is making the most of his time with the A-list crowd back in Europe.

Life After Love and Liftoff

While both Orlando and Katy are clearly navigating major transitions—one personal, one professional—it seems the former couple is now walking very different paths.

He’s leaning into his social circle and events, while she’s braving the spotlight under growing pressure.

Whether it’s sunbathing in Venice or performing under scrutiny, both are front and center in their own stories—and the world is watching.
