The Permanent Secretary urged all staff to emulate the diligence, commitment and hard work rendered to the Lagos State Government by the retired staff so that they can also be celebrated when they exit from service.

Advising the retirees to keep themselves active in retirement, Surv. Sangowawa said, “Get yourself involved in productive activities and acquire new skills in order not to be bored”.

In her remarks at the brief ceremony, the representative of the Public Service Office, Mrs. Ebunoluwa Aina advised the retirees to take the issue of their health seriously while imploring them to spend their retirement benefits wisely.

She enjoined the retirees to deploy the enormous wealth of experience at their disposal into entrepreneurship, urging them to continue their post-retirement life in honesty and integrity.
