Obaseki Approves Retirement Of Okonofua, Permanent Secretary, Edo State Ministry Of Agriculture

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has approved the immediate retirement of Pharm. Godwin Okonofua, Permanent Secretary, Edo State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Edo State Head of Service, Anthony Okungbowa, in a statement, directed that Okonofua hands over all government properties in his possession to the most senior Director in the Ministry.



The statement reads: “Edo State Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki has approved the immediate retirement of Pharm. Godwin Okonofua, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Edo State from the civil service.

“He is to handover all Government properties in his possession to the most senior Director in the Ministry.

“The State Government however appreciates Pharm. Okonofua’s services in the Public Service and wishes him the best in all his future endeavours.”
