The BudgIT Climate Champions Fellowship is a unique program designed to support emerging leaders and organizations in Nigeria working toward climate justice and a fair energy transition.

Fellowship Goals
The main aim of the fellowship is to empower young leaders and organizations by providing them with the skills and support they need to advocate for climate justice and a sustainable energy transition.
The program also aims to:
- Strengthen the ability of leaders to fight for a just energy future and climate justice in Nigeria.
- Create a network of climate advocates and organizations to share knowledge and strategies.
- Offer participants valuable resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help their climate-focused projects thrive.
- Raise awareness and amplify the stories of marginalized communities most affected by climate change.

Eligibility Requirements
If you’re passionate about climate justice and meet the following criteria, you could be a perfect fit for the fellowship:
- You must be a Nigerian citizen between 25 and 40 years old.
- You should have at least 2 years of experience working in the climate sector.
- You need to be affiliated with a registered non-profit organization or social enterprise that focuses on climate justice and energy transition.
- A strong commitment to addressing climate change and driving energy transition is a must.
