The Senate spokeswoman, Ajibola Bashir, stated that efforts to restrict the proliferation of small arms and light weapons in circulation across the country were in high gear.
He also said that the National Assembly was working on devolution of powers to ensure that fiscal federalism was functional.
Because of its impotence, the Bill on the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons 2021 is already in committee and could be passed in a matter of weeks.
