It was a night filled with raw emotion and heavy hearts as WWE fans, stars, and family came together to honor one of wrestling’s most legendary figures—Hulk Hogan.

The spotlight wasn’t just on the ring this time, but on his son Nick Hogan, who stood front and center during an emotional tribute on Monday Night Raw.

Nick Hogan Stands Strong in Emotional Tribute

Nick, now 35, joined WWE superstars past and present for the traditional 10-bell salute to his father.

With tear-filled eyes, he stood solemnly on stage in Detroit, paying his respects to a man the wrestling world knew as an icon—and he knew simply as “Dad.”

His wife, Tana Lea, was by his side, visibly moved and seen wiping away tears.

Triple H Reflects on Hogan’s Impact

Before the bell tolled, fans were reminded of Hulk Hogan’s immense legacy through a tribute previously shared by Triple H, WWE legend and current chief content officer, during SmackDown last Friday.

Paul Levesque, as he’s known off-stage, captured the mood with heartfelt words.

“He captivated millions of people and inspired them around the globe,” Triple H said.

“We would not be standing here right now—all of us together—if it was not for him.”

A Montage of Memories and Legacy

What followed was a powerful video montage, highlighting some of Hogan’s greatest WWE moments.

It played on the big screen inside the arena, bringing back a flood of memories.

For Nick, it was too much to hold back—four days after losing his father, the tribute left him visibly emotional once again.

Hogan’s Sudden Passing Sends Shockwaves

Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, passed away last Thursday at the age of 71 after suffering a cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida.

His death stunned fans around the world and left a massive hole in the heart of professional wrestling.

Among those who publicly paid tribute was former U.S. President Donald Trump, a longtime friend of Hogan’s.

Nick Hogan Opens Up About His Grief

On Sunday, Nick took to Instagram to share his own tribute.

Alongside a heartfelt message, he posted a series of nostalgic photos of himself with his dad.

His words gave fans a glimpse into their close bond—and the heartbreak he now carries.

“Hearing so many kind words and stories about my dad’s life, interactions and experiences with everyone has been incredible and comforting,” he wrote.

A Father, A Mentor, A Best Friend

Nick continued, “My dad was the most incredible person I’ve ever known and will always be my hero.

He was the most kind, loving, and amazing father anybody could ask for.”

He added that Hulk wasn’t just a father figure—he was also his mentor and best friend.

“I love him and miss him more than I could ever explain.”

Cherishing the Final Years Together

Nick also shared how grateful he was to have spent more time with his father in recent years.

After moving back to Florida to be closer to him, they built new memories together—moments he now holds dear.

“I thanked him for everything he has ever done for me and told him how much I loved him and hugged him every chance I got,” he said.

“Those memories are the best moments in my life.”

Wrestling World Mourns a True Legend

As the WWE community continues to grieve, one thing is clear—Hulk Hogan’s impact reached far beyond the ring.

His larger-than-life persona, unforgettable moments, and enduring legacy have left a mark on generations of fans and fellow wrestlers alike.

And for Nick Hogan, the world may have lost a wrestling legend—but he lost his hero, his role model, and his dad.
