Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has confirmed the appointment of Tpl. Olakunle John Aboyeji as the General Manager, New Towns Development Authority (NTDA).
The confirmation of Tpl. Aboyeji was conveyed through a letter issued by the Office of the Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola.
Prior to the appointment as General Manager, Tpl. Aboyeji, was Head, Town Planning Services Department in the Authority; he joined the Lagos State Civil Service in the year 2000 with the then Ministry of Physical Planning and was later deployed to the Lagos State Urban & Regional Planning Board.
He had also served in various capacities since his deployment, in Y2002, to the Lagos State New Towns Development Authority.
Aboyeji, a Registered Town Planner (RTP), bagged his BSc. (Hons) in Urban & Regional Planning from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1993, and a Masters (MURP) from the University of Ibadan in 1998. He is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Town Planners (MNITP).
