NATO leaders meeting virtually today (25 February 2025) called on Russia “to stop this senseless war, immediately cease its assault, withdraw all its forces from Ukraine, and turn back to the path of dialogue and turn away from aggression,” said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
NATO leaders agreed their collective response to Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified invasion of Ukraine. NATO’s close partners Finland, Sweden and the European Union also joined Allied leaders to discuss “the gravest threat to Euro-Atlantic security in decades.”
