After four years away from the UK stage, My Chemical Romance is back — and they’re making a big splash.

The legendary American emo rock band just announced two surprise concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium, set to take place next summer in July 2026.

Originally, their Long Live The Black Parade Tour was planned as an 11-date North American run, but now they’re adding extra stops in Mexico City and London, giving British fans a chance to catch them live once again.

Tickets and Show Details

The Wembley gigs are scheduled for July 10th and 11th, with tickets going on sale at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 15.

The band shared the exciting news on their official social media pages earlier this week, sending fans into a frenzy.

This marks their first UK appearances since 2022, when they finally managed to perform postponed shows from the pandemic era in Milton Keynes and Warrington.

Meet the Band Behind the Music

My Chemical Romance features lead vocalist Gerard Way, bass guitarist Mikey Way, rhythm guitarist Frank Iero, and lead guitarist Ray Toro.

Known as one of the most influential bands of the 2000s, they carved out a huge legacy in the emo and alternative rock scenes.

Between 2000 and 2010, they released four albums, with Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys selling over a million copies worldwide.

The Journey from Breakup to Reunion

The band originally split in 2013 but surprised fans with a one-off reunion show in 2019.

Plans for a full reunion tour in 2020 were derailed by the coronavirus pandemic, delaying their return until 2022.

Since then, they’ve been on a roll — releasing The Foundations of Decay, their first new song in nearly a decade, and hitting the stage again to celebrate their enduring influence.

A Nod to The Black Parade Anniversary

Last year, the band revealed they would mark the 20th anniversary of their iconic 2006 rock opera The Black Parade with a series of North American shows.

Although tragedy struck in November with the loss of drummer Bob Bryer, they pushed through and continue touring through September 2025.

Upcoming Tour Stops and Special Guests

Their current tour kicked off in July in Seattle and will hit major cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, and Toronto before heading to Mexico City for two shows in February 2026.

The tour wraps up with those big Wembley Stadium shows in London next summer.

Each concert features a different opening act, ranging from rock legends like Alice Cooper and Devo to modern names like Evanescence, Thursday, 100 Gecs, and Wallows.

Why The Black Parade Still Matters

The Black Parade was a game-changer, shifting My Chemical Romance from emo heroes to mainstream innovators.

It remains one of the most influential albums of the 21st century and a defining moment in their career — a celebration that these upcoming shows will honor in style.
