Tuesday evening, Ryan Rosado, 30, of Bloomfield, New Jersey, sparked a commotion at Madison Square Garden when he made the game-winning shot after halftime.

The Rangers fan, sporting a Mika Zibanejad jersey, missed his first effort from the blue line, which would have earned him $500.

Standing even further back at the center of the ice for a chance to win a brand-new 2023 Hyundai Tucson SUV, Rosado made a shot that stunned both him and the crowd.Along with the car, Rosado won a hockey stick signed by Mika Zibanejad, whose jersey he wore while making the shot

“My entire body was so numb that I couldn’t feel anything,” Rosado told the New York Post, adding that he was even without his glasses. I believe the puck entered after bouncing over a snow spot. I nearly fainted when I saw it.

In addition to the new vehicle, a hockey stick signed by Zibanejad was presented to Rosado, a Rangers superfan with a flame tattoo.

The fan stated that the moment of victory was the result of multiple coincidences.

Rosado explained to the Post that he only attempted the shot because his sister, Kayla, denied the opportunity to play the game that night.

Rosado originally missed a shot from a closer range, but he took a risk from the center of the ice despite forgetting his glasses.

He also stated that he had difficulty seeing where he needed to shoot because he had left his glasses at home.

Rosado remarked that the timing could not have been better, given that the new vehicle will replace his 2006 Infiniti, which had 204,000 miles and required expensive maintenance.

His cherished team, the New Jersey Devils, fell 4-3 to their in-state rivals, the New York Islanders, despite the fact that Rosado won a new automobile and memorabilia.
