Molly Mae Hague admits luxury travel lifestyle leaves her feeling empty during summer in Manchester and abroad

Ever feel like you’re living a dream life on paper, but somehow it doesn’t quite feel that way? That’s exactly the kind of vibe Molly-Mae Hague has been giving off lately.

Despite a summer packed with high-end travel, designer clothes, and luxury experiences, the influencer recently admitted that she’s not really enjoying any of it.

Jet-Setting but Still Unfulfilled

So far this summer, Molly-Mae has flown first class to Dubai, wandered the romantic streets of Paris, soaked up the Mediterranean sun in Saint Tropez, and even graced Centre Court at Wimbledon in a Dior dress — all while being treated like royalty.

But if you ask her, it’s been anything but exciting.

In a recent vlog chat with her older sister Zoe, she confessed, “I haven’t done one social, fun thing… I haven’t a life.” And yes, that statement sparked more than a few raised eyebrows online.

No Smiles at Manchester Airport

As she geared up for yet another trip — this time flying Jet2 from Manchester with partner Tommy Fury and their daughter Bambi — Molly-Mae looked more stressed than excited.

With her hands full managing their daughter’s stroller and luggage, she didn’t crack a single smile while waiting at check-in, despite staff stepping in to help.

Meanwhile, Tommy strolled calmly alongside Bambi. Just another day in their jet-set routine.

Complaints That Didn’t Sit Well With Fans

YouTube and TikTok followers weren’t exactly sympathetic.

Many called her out for being “tone-deaf,” “out of touch,” and “always moaning.”

After all, her so-called “boring summer” has included stays at five-star hotels, private jets, and exclusive clubs like Soho Farmhouse and Estelle Manor.

Still, in her defense, Molly-Mae doubled down in another video, saying she’s allowed to talk about how she feels — even if people don’t get it.

“I don’t care who tells me I’m out of touch with reality… I’m not going to not talk about it,” she said through tears.

What About All Those Glamorous Trips?

Let’s recap. This year alone, she’s been to:

  • Dubai (multiple times, staying at the £13,000-a-night Jumeirah Al Naseem)

  • The Cotswolds (twice — Soho Farmhouse and Estelle Manor)

  • Disneyland Paris (for her birthday, with family and friends on a private jet)

  • Germany (for a mystery project)

  • St Tropez (shooting for her fashion brand)

  • London (shopping, staying at the Corinthia, attending Wimbledon with Evian)

And somehow, she still says she hasn’t had “one fun moment.”

The Reality of Influencer Burnout?

To be fair, maybe Molly-Mae is just being honest about something many influencers face behind the scenes — burnout from mixing work with constant travel and parenting.

Even luxurious trips can feel like a blur when you’re juggling campaigns, content creation, and toddler tantrums.

She even pointed out that most of her trips were for work or family, not socializing.

“I don’t remember the last time I did my hair and makeup for something that wasn’t work,” she told Zoe.

Big Deals and Bigger Expectations

It’s not like her year hasn’t been productive.

In May, she signed a seven-figure partnership with Unilever to promote their Persil and Comfort products — even featuring baby Bambi in the campaign.

But her candid admission that she feels like she’s missing out on real life struck a nerve.

A Call for Real Talk

Molly-Mae ended her comments with a message that probably resonates more than she expected: “Let’s normalise it.

For the girls that are going to get to the end of summer and not done one fun thing.”

Whether you’re sunbathing in Saint Tropez or working from your kitchen table, feeling a little disconnected is more common than it seems.
