Missing lottery winner holds unclaimed £1.9 million prize as National Lottery urges players to check their tickets in the United Kingdom

Someone out there is sitting on a life-changing £1.9 million prize, and they might not even know it! The National Lottery is urging ticket holders to check their accounts after one lucky winner has yet to come forward.

One Winner Claims Their Share, but the Other Remains a Mystery

Last Saturday’s Lotto draw had two jackpot winners, splitting a whopping £3.8 million between them.

While one fortunate player has stepped forward, the other winner is still missing in action, leaving their £1.9 million share unclaimed.

The winning numbers for the draw were 06, 11, 14, 19, 41, 43, with a bonus ball of 53.

The National Lottery operator, Allwyn, is reminding players who entered the March 1st draw to check their emails and log into their online accounts—because they could be the missing millionaire!

More Than One Forgotten Fortune Is Waiting to Be Claimed

This isn’t the first time a big win has gone unnoticed. Right now, there are eight unclaimed prizes totaling an eye-watering £7.2 million.

Among them is a Set For Life jackpot worth £3.6 million, promising a lucky player £10,000 per month for the next 30 years.

The winner, believed to be from Sevenoaks, Kent, has until April 22nd to step forward.

In a bid to track them down, lottery officials even headed to Sevenoaks train station, hoping to jog the winner’s memory before their fortune disappears.

The Biggest Unclaimed Jackpot in History

For those who think forgetting to claim a prize is impossible, history tells a different story.

The biggest unclaimed lottery win in the UK happened on June 8, 2012, when a EuroMillions ticket worth an eye-popping £63.8 million was bought in the Stevenage and Hitchin area—but the winner never came forward.

Paper Tickets Are More Likely to Go Unclaimed

According to Patrick Lisoire, consumer communications manager at Allwyn, retail tickets are more often lost or forgotten compared to online purchases.

“It’s retail tickets that may go unclaimed because if you buy a paper ticket and misplace it, or just don’t check in time—despite having nearly six months to claim—it could expire,” he explained.

With so many unclaimed fortunes out there, one thing is clear: if you’ve played the lottery recently, it’s time to double-check your tickets.

You never know—your dream life could be waiting for you!
