Member Representing Njikoka Two Pete Ibida Emerges New Chief Whip Anambra State Assembly

The Member representing Njikoka Constituency Two in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Sir Pete Ibida has emerged the new Chief Whip of Anambra State House of Assembly.

 

Presenting Sir Pete as the new Chief Whip during plenary in Awka, the Speaker of the House, Right Honourable Uche Okafor explained that the legislator was nominated from members of the majority party in the House, which is the All Progressives Grand Alliance, in line with the Standing Rules of the House.

 

In his remarks, the Chief whip, Sir Pete Ibida thanked his colleagues in the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA for finding him worthy to serve the Seventh Assembly as the Chief Whip, assuring that he will discharge his duties creditably.

 

In his speech, the Majority Leader, Dr. Nnamdi Okafor expressed optimism that Sir Pete Ibida will live up to expectations, assuring that the House will give him all the necessary support to discharge his duties effectively.
