She shared that if her relationship with her ex-fiancé had worked out, she might already be married.

However, Abebe made the difficult decision to end the relationship due to its violent nature. She expressed that she did not want to remain in an abusive relationship and recognized that she deserved better.

According to Abebe, men who believe they are entitled to sex because they paid for a romantic date with a woman have a twisted mentality.
