It looks like Jadon Sancho has taken his rumored romance with American rapper Saweetie to the next level—by getting her name permanently inked on his skin.
The Manchester United winger, currently out of favor at Old Trafford, was spotted at a California tattoo studio where he added Saweetie’s middle name, Qiava, behind his left ear.
The 25-year-old’s gesture comes after months of speculation linking him to the Billboard star, and fans are now more convinced than ever that the pair are officially an item.
From Lock Screens to Tattoos
This isn’t the first time Sancho has hinted at his connection with Saweetie.
Back in May, he set tongues wagging when eagle-eyed fans noticed her picture as his phone’s lock screen.
The sighting came as he celebrated Chelsea’s Europa Conference League final victory alongside Trevoh Chalobah.
Adding to the buzz, Sancho and Saweetie had also been spotted hugging at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season, further fueling rumors of a budding relationship.
Covering Up the Past
At the tattoo shop, Sancho didn’t just add new ink—he also made changes to old ones.
A previous tattoo on his hand reading “her only” was covered up with a bold flower design.
While it’s unclear who that tattoo was originally dedicated to, the change seems to signal a new chapter for the England international.
Career Uncertainty at Manchester United
While his personal life grabs attention, Sancho’s football career remains in limbo.
Frozen out of Manchester United’s first-team plans under manager Ruben Amorim, the winger is among the group of players the club has been trying to move on this summer.
Roma have expressed interest in a loan deal with an option to buy, but United are holding out for a permanent transfer worth between £20 million and £25 million.
His weekly wages of £250,000 make negotiations tricky, with Juventus and his former club Borussia Dortmund also linked to him.
A Career in Transition
Sancho joined United in 2021 from Dortmund for £73 million, but he has struggled to meet expectations.
Over 83 appearances, he has scored 12 goals and provided six assists.
Last season, he was sent on loan to Chelsea, where he picked up a Conference League medal, and he previously returned to Dortmund on loan as well.
Now with just one year left on his United contract—though the club holds an option to extend—Sancho’s future remains uncertain.
Whether he finds a fresh start in Italy or elsewhere, it’s clear he’s also embracing a new chapter in his personal life.
