Man Hurt Following Tuesday Morning Queen Anne Stabbing

On Tuesday morning, a jogger was attacked on the South Ship Canal Trail in North Queen Anne, and police are still investigating.

A man contacted 911 at 8:48 a.m. to report that he had just been stabbed. At the intersection of 3rd Avenue North and Etruria Street, the 21-year-old victim was discovered with a stab wound to the abdomen. Officers administered initial aid before transferring care to Seattle Fire Department medics upon arrival. The victim was brought to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition by medical personnel.

The victim informed investigators he was stabbed while running on the route, but he was unable to provide a description of the attacker. The police have combed the area for evidence, security footage, and witnesses, and their investigation will continue.
