Anambra police have detained a man in his early 30s for reportedly killing Chidimma Christopher, his 22-year-old lover.
Despite the intervention of their neighbors, he allegedly assaulted the deceased. Chidinma also gave birth to a kid six months ago, according to reports.
Angry adolescents in the village came on Asiegbu after the suspect’s lover fell and was transported to the hospital, where she was proven dead.

Some of the community youths who insisted that Asiegbu should be released to them, said there’s an agreement in the community that anyone who has killed should be killed as well.
