When most people get into a motorbike accident, their first instinct is to check their injuries or call for help.
But for influencer and former Love Island USA contestant Chanse Corbi, her immediate reaction was to grab her phone and start filming.
The 24-year-old reality star, who appeared on Season 4 of the hit dating show back in 2022, crashed her bike while traveling solo in Thailand.
Instead of waiting for medical help, she documented the aftermath — bloodied and bruised, dressed in only a tiny red bikini.
The Accident in Thailand
Corbi explained that she lost control of her motorbike after hitting a pothole near the entrance to a busy motorway.
Luckily, she didn’t sustain life-threatening injuries, but she admitted the crash could have been much worse.
“At least I didn’t lose my leg,” she wrote in the caption of the video, revealing that the incident had happened three months earlier and that she was now on the mend.
A Promo in the Middle of Chaos
What really shocked people wasn’t just the accident itself, but how Corbi chose to handle it online.
While bleeding on camera, she used the moment to promote the bikini she was wearing, offering her followers a discount code for 15 percent off.
The marketing stunt didn’t go down well, especially in culturally conservative Thailand, where dressing so revealingly on the roads sparked criticism as well.
Backlash From Viewers
Social media users quickly piled on with harsh comments.
“Filming this in underwear in public, bleeding, adding music. Humans! Wow,” one person wrote.
Another blasted her choice of outfit, saying, “Maybe next time you won’t ride a motorcycle in your underwear.
What are you trying to prove?”
Others questioned her priorities: “Setting your camera up before addressing your wounds is so f**ed up,*” one commenter said, while another urged her to “have some respect for the country you are in and dress decently when riding.”
Hospital Treatment Shared Online
Corbi eventually went to hospital, where she received treatment for deep wounds on her thigh and other parts of her body.
But even then, she kept the cameras rolling.
In one video, she filmed herself peeling back bandages as an onlooker remarked, “That’s disgusting.”
Her response? “I’ve got to show my friends at home.”
Support From Some Fans
Not everyone was critical, though. A number of her followers praised her toughness, calling her resilient for withstanding the pain while tending to her own injuries.
“She’s tough,” one fan commented. Another added, “Well, you took that fall like a boss.”
Life After Love Island
Corbi, who lasted 22 days in the villa during her Love Island season, now describes herself as a certified travel agent on social media.
She has been sharing updates from her solo travels, most recently spending time in Airlie Beach, Queensland, Australia.
For better or worse, she continues to live life in front of the camera — even when that life involves a motorbike crash on the other side of the world.
