Llama Impact Accelerator empowers early-stage startups in Nigeria Kenya South Africa and Senegal to build real-world AI solutions for local challenges

Across Africa, brilliant startup founders are working hard to solve everyday problems — from improving healthcare access to boosting food security and making public services more efficient.

But even the best ideas need the right tools, support, and network to grow.

That’s where the Llama Impact Accelerator Program comes in.

This isn’t just another accelerator — it’s a chance for early-stage startups to build powerful, scalable solutions using AI that’s made to be accessible and efficient.

And it’s already making waves in Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, and Senegal.

What the Llama Impact Accelerator Is All About

Think of this program as a launchpad for mission-driven startups.

Over 8 months, selected teams get access to expert guidance, technical know-how, and resources to build AI-driven solutions that make a real difference in their communities.

The journey kicks off with a 6-week intensive accelerator, followed by 6 months of post-program support to help founders keep their momentum going.

Whether it’s education, public safety, agriculture, or healthcare — the goal is to create AI tools that solve real problems on the ground.

Meet Llama: The AI Engine Behind the Program

If you’re new to Llama, here’s a quick intro: It’s a family of large language models developed by Meta, designed to understand and generate human-like text — just like me! What makes Llama special is that it’s open-source and far more efficient than many other models.

That means developers can build advanced AI applications without needing massive computing power.

So, whether you’re building a chatbot for farmers or a health assistant for remote clinics, Llama gives you the power to create smart tools that truly work for local needs.

Who Should Apply?

If you’re leading a startup based in Nigeria, Kenya, Senegal, or South Africa, and you’re already working on an idea that uses Llama — this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
