It’s been a minute since Lindsay Lohan walked a major Hollywood red carpet, but she made sure her return was unforgettable.

The 39-year-old actress stepped out with her husband, Bader Shammas, at the world premiere of Freakier Friday, the long-awaited sequel to her 2003 hit.

The event took place at the iconic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, and it was nothing short of a full-blown star-studded celebration.

A Glow-Up That Sparked Buzz

Fans couldn’t help but notice that Lindsay looked a little different—refreshed, polished, and with a visibly tauter appearance than years past.

Naturally, the plastic surgery rumors kicked up again.

But Lindsay already addressed this back in May when she told ELLE magazine: “I’m like, when? With what time? Where?” She explained that it was actually motherhood—and not a facelift—that changed her skin.

After welcoming her son Luai, Lindsay said her skin became super sensitive, prompting her to overhaul her skincare routine and diet.

She even took blood tests to identify allergies. “That’s when everything started to change for me,” she explained.

All Eyes on Her Look—and Her Nod to Pink Slip

For the purple carpet, Lindsay channeled a bit of Y2K glam in a sparkly pink Miu Miu gown with rhinestone straps, styled by Andrew Mukamal.

She carried a bedazzled microphone as a fun throwback to her character’s band Pink Slip—yes, they even re-recorded “Take Me Away” for the sequel.

Her blonde waves were styled to perfection by Danielle Priano, and her makeup, courtesy of Ash K. Holm, gave her that effortlessly radiant finish fans love.

Family Night Out and a Peek Into Her Future Plans

Lindsay and Bader, who met in 2019 in Dubai, have now been married for two years.

They just celebrated little Luai’s second birthday, and Lindsay dropped a hint that they might not stop at one child.

“He needs a kid to play with,” she told ELLE. Laughing, she added, “I need more than one kid to take care of me when I’m older!”

Reuniting with Jamie Lee Curtis—On and Off Screen

One of the most heartwarming moments of the night was seeing Lindsay back with her on-screen mom, Jamie Lee Curtis, who dazzled in a red mini-dress.

The two have stayed close over the years, and their bond was on full display.

They took the stage together to greet fans and reflect on their journey from Freaky Friday to Freakier Friday.

Jamie told People that their connection goes deeper than Hollywood.

“I know I can trust her,” she said. “We’ve both been through hard things, and we’re not dead yet.”

Lindsay echoed the sentiment: “Safe is a very important word to me… and Jamie is one of those people. I feel safe with her.”

Lindsay’s Comeback Era Is Just Getting Started

Freakier Friday, which hits theaters on August 8, marks Lindsay’s first major theatrical role in 18 years.

It’s a big step in what seems to be a thoughtful comeback.

After years of tabloid drama and multiple stints in rehab, Lohan seems grounded—and excited about what’s ahead.

In addition to the Disney sequel, she’s got a beauty brand in the works, a Hulu series titled Count My Lies, and even a biopic on Ann-Margret coming down the pipeline.

A Night Full of Reunions and Red Carpet Moments

The premiere brought out a fun mix of stars, new and nostalgic.

Lindsay posed with cast members including Manny Jacinto, Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, and director Nisha Ganatra.

She also shared a sweet mini-reunion with Parent Trap co-stars Lisa Ann Walter and Elaine Hendrix.

Other familiar faces showed up to support, including:

  • Chad Michael Murray, who rocked a cropped pink jacket and boots

  • Vanessa Bayer and Chloe Fineman, who bring comic energy to the new film

  • Comedian Whitney Cummings, dazzling in a golden corseted slip dress

  • Carmen Electra, defying age in a sparkly red number

  • Rachael Leigh Cook, going floral in a summery frock

  • Karolína Kurková, Greer Grammer, and even The Little Mermaid’s Jodi Benson joined in on the glam

Even Taylor Hanson made it a daddy-daughter night with his 12-year-old Wilhelmina in tow.

The Verdict? Lindsay Is Back and Owning It

The premiere of Freakier Friday was more than just a movie debut—it felt like a homecoming for Lindsay Lohan.

And from the look of it, she’s just getting started.
