For more than a decade, Count’s Vamp’d in Las Vegas has been more than just a music venue—it’s been a sanctuary for rock fans, a stage for legends, and a piece of Sunset Strip magic planted right in the heart of the desert.
But now, the man behind the magic, Danny “Count” Koker, is preparing to sell this iconic space for $4.3 million.
If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a piece of real rock history, this might just be your moment.
A Venue Born from Pure Rock and Roll Grit
Back in 2009, Koker—known to many as the car-loving star of Counting Cars on the History Channel—teamed up with Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil to create the kind of club Las Vegas desperately needed. They weren’t after glitz or glamour.
They wanted grit, soul, and headbanging energy. Inspired by legendary L.A. spots like The Viper Room and The Rainbow, Count’s Vamp’d was designed to bring that old-school rock spirit to Vegas.
It worked. For 16 years, the club has hosted everyone from members of Black Sabbath and Mötley Crüe to Sebastian Bach of Skid Row and Pantera’s Vinnie Paul.
The Only Place Like It Off the Strip
Vamp’d is no ordinary bar or concert space. Sitting on 1.5 acres, the 6,000-square-foot building has 95 private parking spots and is fully zoned and permitted for live music—something extremely rare for a spot off the Las Vegas Strip.
Inside, every inch was custom-built by Koker and his crew.
From the elevated stage to the sleek booths and glowing bar, every corner pulses with the spirit of rock and roll.
Dim lighting, leather seating, chandeliers, and neon signs all come together to create an atmosphere that’s part dive bar, part metal temple.
A Home for Rock Legends and Rising Stars
Through the years, Count’s Vamp’d became known as a place where rock royalty might randomly show up—or even hop on stage.
It’s also been a go-to venue for music lovers who just want to soak up that gritty, authentic energy that’s hard to find these days.
And even now, it’s still going strong. Just this past February, the venue hosted Planet Desert Rock Weekend, drawing in 20 bands across four nights of heavy riffs and stoner rock vibes.
The upcoming lineup includes acts like Faster Pussycat, Night Ranger, and Loverboy, proving this club isn’t fading quietly into the night.
Count’s Passion Project Fueled by Love and Family
In an emotional interview, Koker reflected on the heart and soul behind Vamp’d—and how much his wife Korie played in its success.
As the club’s entertainment director, she helped shape the venue’s legacy into what it is today: a community hub for die-hard rock fans.
“There’s so much love in the house,” Koker shared. “It’s about music, it’s about love, it’s about keeping things cool and really enjoying it.”
For Koker, it’s never just been a business—it’s been a passion project built with heart, sweat, and a deep love for the rock scene.
Ready to Pass the Torch, But Hoping the Flame Burns On
Although the venue is listed for $4.3 million, that price covers only the real estate.
Buyers will have the option to purchase the full Vamp’d experience—including the brand, furnishings, signage, and gear—for an additional 10%.
Koker made it clear he hopes the right buyer comes along—someone who’ll keep the spirit alive and let the music keep playing.
“Nothing would make me happier than for someone to come in, let me pass the torch, and keep running with it,” he said.
A Farewell, But Not the End
While Koker hasn’t shared exactly what he’ll be doing next, he hinted at new projects on the horizon.
But one thing’s for sure: Count’s Vamp’d has left a permanent mark on Las Vegas nightlife and the rock world at large.
And whether the next chapter keeps the amps turned up or transforms the space completely, the venue’s 16-year run as the “world’s greatest rock club” won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
