The General Manager, Lagos State Agricultural Input Supply Authority (LAISA), Mr. Bolaji Balogun, has said that all the Agency’s Farm Centres in Badagry, Agege, Ikorodu and Epe are now open for farmers to access farming inputs, seedlings and fertilizers for the new planting season.
Balogun stated that the Farm Centres are also fully stocked with poultry battery cages for poultry farmers, knapsack sprayers, water pumps and Aller Aqua fish feed to meet the needs of its numerous customers across the State.
He said, “LAISA Farm Centres, in line with the commitment of the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration’s commitment to ensure food security in the State, are now opened to the public. Our centres have new stock of fertilizers, agrochemicals, hybrid maize seeds and vegetable seeds among others for the new planting season at affordable prices”.
While informing that the Agency is also a key distributor of Yamaha 4 Stroke Outboard Engine in the State, the General Manager hinted that the Yamaha engines and all accessories are also available at the various farm centres of the Agency at very competitive prices.
The General Manager, however, enjoined all its customers to observe all safety protocols during their visit to any of the Agency’s centres in line with the directives of the State Government, imploring them to continue to keep safe by embracing the use of facemasks, personal hygiene and physical distancing as part of efforts to curb the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic in Lagos.
