Lagos State Attorney-General receives the State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) Campaign team

On Monday, the Lagos State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Moyosore Onigbanjo (SAN), received the State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) Campaign team during its visit to the Ministry of Justice as part of the Agency’s activities commemorating the month-long awareness campaign themed: “IT’S ON US” and #TurnAlausaPurple.

The Commissioner for Justice, who is also the Chairman of the Agency, welcomed the team to the Ministry and congratulated the Executive Secretary of DSVA, Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, and her team for spreading the word via different campaigns and sensitisation in all corners of the State.

Onigbanjo emphasised that the topic of the campaign is appropriate due to the pressing need to ensure that residents of the State recognise that eliminating the problem of Sexual and Gender-based Violence requires the participation of all members of society.

He reaffirmed that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration is resolved to control the issue of domestic and sexual violence throughout the state and punish perpetrators appropriately. He urged the team to continue to vigorously propagate the “IT’S ON US” message.
