The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Engr. Abiola Kosegbe has charged the staff of the Ministry to be efficient in performing their duties.
She gave the charge during her first official interaction cum management staff meeting at the Ministry, urging all officers to live up to expectation, think outside the box and cultivate the habit of mentoring in order to get the best from upcoming officers towards achieving the aims and objectives of the State Government.
In her words: “Our combined efforts as members of the Physical Planning family is critical to the seamless development of the State and must be in tandem with the T.H.E.M.E.S agenda of the State Government”.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Idris Salako, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Urban Development, Ganiyu Adele Ayuba and the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Arc. Foluso Dipe led other members of staff to officially receive the Permanent Secretary, who was appointed along with 17 others last week by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
The Commissioner stated that the Ministry is fortunate to have a professional conversant with the Ministry’s operations, while the Special Adviser, Urban Development, enjoined officers to imbibe the redefined Vision and Mission Statements of the Ministry and act accordingly to upscale their performance for unprecedented progress.
On his part, the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Arc. Foluso Dipe, who was commended by staff of the Ministry for his dedication, leadership and humility, enjoined officers to extend the cooperation he enjoyed to the new Permanent Secretary, Engr. Abiola Kosegbe.
