Kwara approves 2015, 2016, 2017 promotion arrears for TESCOM teachers

Kwara state government released a statement saying in part of their commitment to workers’ welfare, they have approved the implementation of 2015, 2016 and 2017 promotion arrears for TESCOM teachers in the state.

The statement says this is coming barely two months after the state government promoted nearly 7,000 civil servants and backed same with commensurate financial benefits.


The statement says Kwara government acknowledge that there are still outstanding promotions and arrears, some dating as far back as 2010, that were inherited and which still need to be settled.

Kwara government promised to keep working on freeing up resources to gradually implement them while also delivering on their campaign promises to the general public within available resources.
