KSJI St. Thomas Aquinas Commandery 712 Awka Holds Sent – Forth Ceremony For Former Grand Spiritual Director Reverend Fr. Ezeoke

The Knights of Saint John International, KSJI, St Thomas Aquinas Commandery 712 Awka, has organized a send-off ceremony for its former grand Spiritual Director and Adviser, Reverend Father Anthony Ezeoke.

The send-off ceremony, which commenced with a Holy Mass at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Awka, also welcomed the new Spiritual Director and Adviser of the commandery.

Correspondent Blessing Dennis reports that in a goodwill message, Reverend Father Evaristus Iheanacho urged the Knights to evangelize, win souls for Christ, and protect the doctrine of the Church.

Father Iheanacho, urged them to protect the legacy of the Knighthood and not to be deceived by  the beauty of their calling.

Speaking shortly after the Mass, the Captain President of Knight of Saint John International, Saint Thomas Aquinas Commandery 712 Awka, Sir Jude Obikwulu while extending felicitations to their grand Spiritual Director and Advisers, prayed and encouraged them to continue to speak and work for the good of the downtrodden.

On her part, Lady Chinwe Nnedum stated that their aims were to foster better fellowship among various commanders, boost members’ morale to support and promote the welfare of members.

Lending his voice, the Grand Secretary of the commandery, Sir Ogo Ezeonu called on members to be devoted to acts of charity, both personally and within the order.

Parades, match pasts by KSJI and presentation of cash gifts climaxed the event.
