While her ex-husband Jay Cutler continues to make headlines for all the wrong reasons, Kristin Cavallari is celebrating one of the biggest wins of her career.
The former Laguna Beach and The Hills star has just scored an eight-figure deal to keep her hit podcast going — proving that life after reality TV can still be very, very lucrative.
A Record-Breaking Deal That Puts Her Among the Top Podcasters
Cavallari, 38, has officially signed a new multi-year agreement with Dear Media to extend her chart-topping Let’s Be Honest podcast.
According to Variety, the deal “exceeds eight figures,” which likely places her among the network’s highest-paid personalities.
She now joins a powerhouse roster that includes the likes of Khloe Kardashian, Lisa Rinna, Scheana Shay, Arielle Lorre, and Amanda Hirsch — plus her old Hills co-star, Whitney Port.
It’s an impressive lineup, but Cavallari’s name alone continues to pull major attention in the pop culture space.
Turning Nostalgia into Gold
Launched in 2023 after her Laguna Beach rewatch series Back to the Beach, Let’s Be Honest became an instant hit with fans who grew up watching her on MTV.
Between candid confessions about her personal life and juicy celebrity conversations, the podcast quickly turned into a pop culture staple.
Earlier this year, Cavallari even took the show on the road for Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, a reality series that aired on E! and was produced by Alex Baskin’s 32 Flavors.
Much of the show’s success comes from its nostalgia factor — she’s been revisiting old The Hills episodes and teasing a reunion with her Laguna Beach castmates, including longtime frenemy Lauren Conrad.
The reunion special, set to air next year on Roku TV, will see Cavallari step behind the camera as an executive producer.
Jay Cutler’s Legal Woes Continue in Tennessee
While Kristin’s career is thriving, her ex-husband Jay Cutler has been dealing with serious legal troubles.
The former NFL quarterback, 42, was recently released from jail in Tennessee after serving time for a DUI offense dating back to October 2024.
Cutler was initially sentenced to four days in Williamson County Jail but was released after just two and a half.
According to court documents, the case stemmed from an incident in which he allegedly rear-ended another car in Franklin, Tennessee.
Officers at the scene reported that Cutler appeared intoxicated — with bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and the smell of alcohol — and that he refused a sobriety test.
