Kris Jenner requests private boat ride

Kris Jenner may have dazzled in black and white at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s ultra-luxurious wedding in Venice, but not everything was picture perfect behind the scenes.

While the cameras captured her flashing a wide smile on a water taxi ride with longtime partner Corey Gamble, a lip-reader now suggests Kris was actually having a tense moment—wanting to avoid the celebrity crowd and head back solo.

Glamorous Arrival, But a Not-So-Glamorous Exit

The 69-year-old Kardashian–Jenner matriarch was among the A-listers at the $20 million wedding celebration on San Giorgio Maggiore island.

Kris and Corey looked the part, arriving in style.

But video footage of them boarding a water taxi has sparked a buzz—not for what was heard, but for what was read from her lips.

According to expert lip-reader Nicola Hickling, Kris wasn’t exactly in the mood for mingling when it was time to leave.

Despite waving and smiling, she appeared to be urgently requesting a solo ride back to her accommodations.

“I’d Like to Travel Alone”—Kris Reportedly Snaps at Corey

Hickling reviewed the footage and claims Kris asked for a paper towel to dry off before getting into the boat, then thanked the staff.

But when one of the porters asked if she wanted to travel alone, things seemed to shift.

Corey reportedly tried to smooth things over, telling a staffer, “We’re happy to travel on our own.

It’s what Kris would like to do.” But even that didn’t seem fast enough for her.

In a sharper moment, Kris allegedly turned to Corey and asked, “What are you doing?

Do you need to talk?”—before following up with, “I told you… for God’s sake… I’d like to travel alone.”

Corey Steps Up to Keep the Peace

Corey, doing his best to meet Kris’s wishes, reportedly stepped out of the boat again to clarify their preference.

After some back-and-forth with the porters, they finally got the message—and the boat took off, just the two of them onboard.

Interestingly, Kris didn’t leave the wedding with any of her famous daughters—Kim, Khloé, Kendall, or Kylie—despite all of them being present.

Her choice to travel without the entourage may speak to a deeper preference for privacy, or maybe just a long day at an over-the-top event.

A Guest List Packed With Global Celebrities

The event itself was a true who’s-who of the elite.

From Tom Brady and Orlando Bloom to Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah Winfrey, Usher, Tommy Hilfiger, Ellie Goulding, and Diane von Fürstenberg, the guest list had star power at every turn.

The lavish affair saw over 200 guests flown in to Venice, with the couple reportedly taking over the entire island.

If extravagance had a name, this wedding was it.

Lauren Sánchez’s Wedding Dress Gets the Vogue Treatment

New bride Lauren Sánchez looked straight out of a fairytale.

Her elegant white wedding gown, designed with lace floral sleeves and a sculpted high neckline, was such a standout that it made the cover of Vogue.

The dress flared out into a dramatic paisley and floral lace skirt and featured a sweeping train, matched by a sheer veil that flowed behind her.

Moments after the ceremony, Sánchez took to Instagram to post a photo with Bezos, proudly captioning it with their wedding date.

Bezos Keeps It Classic with a Tux for the Big Day

After a relaxed pre-wedding look in a summery suit, Jeff Bezos went full traditional for the ceremony in a sharp black three-piece tuxedo.

The Amazon founder looked every bit the billionaire groom at what many are calling the wedding of the year.

Behind the Glamour, Just Another Couple Having a Moment

While Kris Jenner’s sharp exchange might seem like a minor hiccup, it’s a reminder that even at the most glamorous events on Earth, real-life moments still happen.

Tensions rise, preferences clash, and sometimes, you just want a quiet boat ride—away from the cameras and chaos.
