Kourtney Kardashian debuts new bangs on Instagram while recovering from Covid at home in Los Angeles

Kourtney Kardashian gave her fans a surprise on Friday when she revealed a brand-new hairstyle on Instagram.

The 46-year-old reality star and mother of four showed off freshly cut bangs in a set of mirror selfies, turning what started as a quiet day into a viral moment.

Her post was captioned simply, “Witchy season,” and it quickly drew attention — especially from her husband, Travis Barker.

The Blink-182 drummer kept his reaction short but fiery, dropping a single emoji of a red-hot face with its tongue out and sweat dripping.

A Quarantine Haircut

Kourtney didn’t just debut her new bangs — she also let fans in on the behind-the-scenes moment.

On her Instagram Story, she showed snippets of her raven hair on the floor, right beside a stuffed animal.

She explained that the makeover came during an unexpected downtime: “I always get the urge to cut my hair when I have Covid,” she admitted.

The selfies showed her with a natural, makeup-free glow, wearing a simple white graphic T-shirt and showing off a short, glossy nude manicure.

Family and Business Support

Even her own brand, Poosh, jumped into the comments to cheer her on, writing: “It’s about that time” with a black heart and pumpkin emoji.

Kourtney and Travis, who married in Italy in 2022, have been blending their families ever since.

Together, they share son Rocky Thirteen, born in November 2023, while Kourtney also has three children — Mason, Penelope, and Reign — with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.

Travis adds his own kids to the mix: Landon, Alabama, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler.

Despite their openness online, the couple has kept Rocky’s face private, only sharing small glimpses of the toddler in family photo dumps, including recent snapshots from Travis’s tour.

A Day of Mixed Emotions

While Kourtney’s haircut gave fans something fun to talk about, Friday carried heavier emotions for Travis Barker.

On the same day, he reflected on the 17th anniversary of the tragic 2008 plane crash that nearly claimed his life.

The crash killed four people, including two pilots, Travis’s security guard Chris Baker, and his assistant Charles Still.

Only Travis and DJ AM survived, though DJ AM tragically passed away a year later.

Marking the day on Instagram, Travis wrote: “17 years later, I’m still here and I never forget the lives we lost that night. I live every day in their memory.”

Balancing Light and Heavy Moments

For Kourtney and Travis, the week has been a reminder of how life often mixes lighthearted moments with deep reflection.

From playful haircuts and family updates to the somber memory of a life-changing accident, the couple continues to share their highs and lows with fans — in their own candid style.
