Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp has compared the club’s pursuit of Dortmund midfielder, Jude Bellingham to a five-year-old child expecting a Ferrari for Christmas.
This was after news broke that Liverpool has dropped out of the race to sign the young midfielder due to his high asking price.

Klopp argued that the club cannot sign six players in a summer, and everyone for £100m.
Liverpool still plan to reinforce their midfield, but will have to source cheaper alternatives to Bellingham.
Mason Mount remains a target as his contract expires at the end of next season, while the likes of Conor Gallagher, Matheus Nunes, Alexis Mac Allister, and Youri Tielemans are also being monitored.
Klopp likens Liverpool’s transfer ambitions to a young child’s expectations of finding a Ferrari under the Christmas tree.
