Kim Kardashian and her daughter North West kept their Italian vacation going this week with a stop at one of Rome’s most iconic landmarks: the Colosseum.
While the mother-daughter duo and their entourage toured the enormous amphitheater, it seemed that 12-year-old North was less than impressed, often glancing at her phone rather than the ancient ruins.
A Stylish Contrast Between Mother and Daughter
Kim, 44, opted for a relaxed all-black ensemble that highlighted her famously toned midriff, pairing a layered crop top with sleek pants and tying a jacket around her waist.
Black open-toe stilettos added a touch of height, and oversized sunglasses shielded her eyes from the Roman sun.
North, on the other hand, went for a colorful and playful look.
Sporting striking teal and cobalt-blue hair in long pigtails, she paired a tan minidress with a black lace skirt peeking out.
Black flats and tulle-topped socks completed her outfit, signaling a more maximalist style than her mother’s minimalist aesthetic.
Travel Companions and Family Dynamics
Notably, North’s younger siblings—Saint, nine; Chicago, seven; and Psalm, six—didn’t join the Rome leg of the trip.
North seemed to stick close to a friend with red hair and a coordinating stylish outfit, while Kim moved with an entourage of security and guides.
Unlike some family outings, there was no camera crew in sight, suggesting this part of the trip won’t appear on The Kardashians.
Dining and Shopping in the Eternal City
After exploring the Colosseum, Kim and North stopped for a meal before hitting some high-end shopping spots around Rome.
The mother and daughter held hands affectionately while strolling the city, later appearing to check out of the luxurious Hotel Eden, signaling the end of this part of their getaway.
Over the weekend, they were also spotted dining at the iconic Pierluigi Restaurant.
Kim’s Recent Jet-Setting Adventures
This Italian trip comes on the heels of another recent vacation.
Earlier in the week, Kim shared snaps of a Cabo San Lucas getaway with her younger children, traveling on a private jet playfully dubbed “Kim Air.”
The children, including eldest son Saint sporting pink hair, enjoyed beach activities and luxurious accommodations, while friends and family, including Khloé’s kids True and Tatum, joined in on the fun.
