There are reports circulating that a man known as Miyenbi Nation was kidnapped in Amukpe on the evening of March 18th.

Miyenbi, who is from the Ijaw ethnic group, was returning home after visiting his wife in the hospital.

His wife had been admitted due to health concerns, and around 9:00 PM, as he made his way back to their home, a group of armed individuals ambushed him.

The Abduction and Its Aftermath

According to reports, the kidnappers seized Miyenbi right in front of his home, located along the NDDC Road in Amukpe.

Despite the terrifying nature of the incident, no contact has been made by the kidnappers yet, leaving the situation uncertain for both Miyenbi’s family and authorities.

The abductors are reportedly demanding a ransom of N100 million for his release.
