Kelsey Parker’s Joyful News
Kelsey Parker, widow of the late Tom Parker from The Wanted, is expecting a baby with her new partner, Will Lindsay.
The 34-year-old shared the exciting news on Saturday, revealing that the pregnancy comes just three years after Tom’s tragic passing.
Tom, who was only 33, passed away from brain cancer in March 2022.
Together, Kelsey and Tom had two children: five-year-old Aurelia and four-year-old Bodhi.
A Bittersweet Journey
In an interview with The Mirror, Kelsey opened up about the mixed emotions she’s feeling during this time.
“Tom and I always talked about having four children,” she explained.
“But life had other plans. This news is amazing but also bittersweet.
I’m so happy, but it’s hard not to think about how different my life could have been.
” Kelsey admitted that the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy has made her reflect on her past, but she’s excited for the future.
She also recognized that by sharing this news, she’s putting herself out there for people to judge.
However, Kelsey expressed that she wanted to spread joy and hoped others would feel as happy for her as she is. She also believes Tom would have supported her decision, knowing he wouldn’t want her to live in sadness.
Support from Tom’s Family
Kelsey’s emotional journey has been made easier with support from Tom’s family.
His mother, Noreen, immediately gave her blessing when Kelsey told her about the pregnancy.
“Noreen is incredible,” Kelsey said.
“She told me, ‘As long as you’re happy, Kels, whatever you do, we’ll always support you.
’” It’s clear that both families are excited for the new addition. Kelsey added,
“The most important thing to me is that both our families are happy.”
Sharing the News with Her Kids
Kelsey’s two children, Aurelia and Bodhi, were thrilled when they heard about the baby.
Kelsey even filmed the special moment she shared the news with them, so they’ll always have that memory.
She spoke about how her kids are adjusting to the news and how happy they are to become big siblings.
A New Chapter with Will
Kelsey and Will began dating last year, and she mentioned that Will has gradually moved into the home she once shared with Tom.
“When the time felt right, he gradually moved in,” Kelsey shared. She also noted that they have no preference for the baby’s sex and are undecided on whether they want to find out the gender ahead of time.
A Calm and Peaceful Birth
After two traumatic births, Kelsey hopes for a more peaceful and calm experience this time around.
Her labor with Bodhi was especially difficult, as Tom was diagnosed with his brain tumor when Kelsey was 35 weeks pregnant.
Kelsey is now preparing for a more serene home birth, hoping it will be a better experience for both her and the baby.
Moving On with the Blessing of the Past
Earlier this month, Kelsey revealed that a psychic told her that Tom had given his blessing for her to find love again.
According to Kelsey, the spiritualists she’s spoken with have told her she’s not blocking herself by moving forward in her life.
She even hinted that more children could be in the future for her and Will.
Kelsey shared that Tom and she had talked about having more children before his diagnosis, and she believes this could still happen with Will.
A Tribute to Will
Kelsey has praised Will for helping her heal after Tom’s death.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, she shared how Will has “brought her back to life” following the devastation she’s experienced.
The post included a blurry image of the couple sharing a kiss, with Kelsey expressing gratitude for finding love again.
“December hits differently this year,” she wrote, “After the storm, I’ve found someone who loves every piece of me and reminds me what it feels like to be alive again.”
For Kelsey, this new chapter is one of healing, love, and hope for the future.
