Sometimes, it’s the quiet, simple moments that mean the most—especially after losing someone irreplaceable.

That’s exactly what Kelly Osbourne chose to focus on when she opened up on Instagram about the heartbreaking loss of her father, rock icon Ozzy Osbourne.

Six Days After His Death, Kelly Shares a Special Memory

Kelly posted a touching tribute on Monday, six days after Ozzy’s unexpected passing.

The 76-year-old Black Sabbath frontman died at his Buckinghamshire home on July 22, following a long, brave fight with Parkinson’s disease.

To honor his memory, Kelly shared a throwback video from her teenage years, sitting on her dad’s lap during an interview.

With Ozzy’s notorious love of swearing in mind, she says playfully, “I can’t say f**k, I have to behave myself.”

Ozzy, always the jokester, pulls her in for a hug and responds, “Terrible isn’t it, the way children speak these days?” Kelly quips back, “But I learned from you daddy, it’s alright,” and he ends it with: “You learned from the best, baby.”

It’s a short but incredibly personal clip that perfectly captured their bond.

A Final Show That Became a Farewell

What makes Ozzy’s passing even more emotional is the timing.

Just over two weeks before his death, he performed one last time with his original Black Sabbath bandmates—Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward.

The show, fittingly titled Back to the Beginning, was held at Villa Park in Birmingham—his hometown and the home stadium of his beloved Aston Villa.

More than 42,000 fans packed the stadium for what became his last ever live performance.

The emotional reunion marked their first time performing together since 2005, and the atmosphere was electric.

The final photo of Ozzy was taken that night—seated on a throne decorated with a bat, singing the songs that made him a legend.

As the show closed, he told the crowd, “It’s the last song ever.

Your support has enabled us to live an amazing lifestyle, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

His last message, displayed on a screen, read: “Thank you for everything, you guys are f**ing amazing.

Birmingham Forever.”* Fireworks lit up the night sky.

The Moment Emergency Crews Rushed to Help

More details have emerged about the day Ozzy passed.

On the morning of July 22, emergency services were urgently called to Welders House—Ozzy’s countryside mansion in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire.

The situation was clearly serious. An air ambulance was dispatched from the Thames Valley base at RAF Benson in Oxfordshire, flying roughly 27 miles before landing in a nearby field at 10:30 a.m.

Paramedics were with Ozzy for nearly two hours, working tirelessly in an attempt to save his life, but tragically, it was too late.

Family Tribute Sparks Questions Over Missing Names

When the statement announcing Ozzy’s death was released, it was signed by four of his children.

However, fans were quick to notice that his two other children, Jessica and Elliot, were not mentioned in the tribute.

The reason for their exclusion remains unclear and has sparked speculation online.

Saying Goodbye to a Rock Legend

Ozzy Osbourne was more than just a heavy metal icon—he was a husband, a father, and someone whose music and wild spirit defined a generation.

His final show in Birmingham was more than a concert; it was a full-circle moment, a chance to return home, and a heartfelt goodbye to the fans who had supported him through every chapter of his life.

As fireworks lit up the sky and fans cheered for the last time, Ozzy left the stage not just as a rockstar, but as a father remembered with love—and laughter—by his daughter.
