What was meant to be a dramatic wrap-up to The Real Housewives of Atlanta season turned into something else entirely — thanks to a very revealing outfit worn by newcomer Kelli Ferrell.
Instead of fans focusing on the usual reunion tea, much of the chatter this time was about Kelli’s wardrobe misstep… or rather, repeated wardrobe slips.
A Bold Look That Got a Little Too Bold
During the second part of the season 16 reunion, which aired on July 20, Kelli made a bold fashion statement in a strapless yellow mini dress by Kristina Kharlashkina.
The dress, complete with floral accents and a flowing train, was paired with custom yellow Christian Louboutin heels and a chunky Alexis Bittar necklace.
But while the outfit turned heads, it also raised eyebrows — and not for the right reasons.
Kelli’s strapless corset-style top struggled to stay in place, and viewers couldn’t help but notice what looked like a nip slip.
Social media lit up with reactions as it became clear her dress wasn’t exactly staying secure throughout the taping.
Fans Call It Distracting and “Trashy”
Reactions across Reddit and other platforms came in fast — and they were not kind.
One user launched a discussion titled “Kelli’s ill-fitting dress,” questioning how the show could keep rolling while “her entire mf nipple” was exposed.
“I definitely CANNOT,” the post read — and plenty of others agreed.
“I’m sick of seeing everyone’s areola. Tacky and desperate,” someone else chimed in.
One user vented: “It’s not sexy, not feminine, not appealing, not classy.
It’s TRASHY.” Even those who said they liked Kelli and fellow cast member Shamea Morton admitted the outfits were a serious miss.
Dragged for Her Style Despite a Season of Bragging
A particularly stinging comment came from someone who pointed out the irony of Kelli’s slip given her constant shoutouts to her styling team during the season.
“Ma’am,” one person wrote bluntly. Another asked, “Why are her breasts always on the verge of falling out?” Some suggested she needs to start choosing clothes that actually fit her.
From Restaurant Owner to Reality Star
Kelli made her RHOA debut this season, bringing with her a new perspective as a restaurateur and cookbook author.
She owns Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffle, a Georgia-based restaurant named after her grandmother, and has been building her brand while managing some serious personal changes.
The 40-year-old star is currently navigating a divorce from her husband of 11 years, Chuvalo Mark Ferrell. The pair separated in 2022.
The Reunion Drama Continues
This reunion was split into two parts, with the first airing on July 13 and featuring Andy Cohen alongside Kelli and other cast members like Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Drew Sidora, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Angela Oakley, and friend Cynthia Bailey.
The second part aired on July 20 and gave fans even more behind-the-scenes tension — though, thanks to Kelli’s outfit, much of that was overshadowed.
The final part of the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 reunion will air on July 27 at 8pm ET.
