Kelley Wolf Faces Possible Social Media Ban as Prosecutors Push for Restrictions Amid Legal Battle with Ex Scott Wolf in Utah

The personal life of actor Scott Wolf has once again made headlines, but this time it’s not about his acting.

Legal turmoil has erupted between Scott and his estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, following claims that she shared his personal phone number online.

Prosecutors are now pushing for stricter restrictions as the case moves forward.

Prosecutors Seek Social Media Ban for Kelley Wolf

Court documents reveal that prosecutors have requested a judge to add a condition to Kelley’s bond: a ban on her social media use.

The request comes after Kelley allegedly “doxxed” the 57-year-old Party of Five star by posting his private phone number on Instagram earlier this week.

As of now, the judge has yet to rule on whether Kelley will be restricted from accessing social media.

Scott Wolf Secures Temporary Protective Order

This development comes on the heels of Scott being granted a temporary protective order against Kelley, who is 48.

Court records show that Scott filed for the order on Tuesday, the same day Kelley allegedly shared his personal information online and was subsequently arrested.

A hearing is scheduled for September 10, during which Scott can request an extension of the protective order.

Police Report Describes Harassment Incident

According to a police affidavit, an officer responding to Scott’s call observed him receiving a flood of calls and messages from strangers shortly after Kelley’s post went live.

The officer confirmed that the Instagram post revealed Scott’s phone number, leading to the harassment.

Kelley was arrested and charged with electronic communication harassment and electronic disclosure of personal identifying information.

The Summit County Attorney later indicted her on two Class B misdemeanor counts related to sharing personal information.

Arrest and Bail Details

Kelley was arrested at her home in Peoa, Utah. Reports indicate she initially spoke to officers through a window, refused to respond to accusations, and only allowed herself to be taken into custody after changing into more appropriate clothing.

She was able to post a $5,000 bail and is set to be released soon.

Court orders also require Kelley to participate in medical or behavioral treatment, abstain from drugs and alcohol, and avoid contacting potential witnesses—including Scott.

Social Media Post Before Arrest

Before being taken into custody, Kelley posted on Instagram Stories about the police arriving at her house.

She claimed to be scared and confused, insisting she had done nothing wrong and was not a danger to anyone.

Family and Custody Tensions

The family situation adds another layer of complexity.

Scott has three children with Kelley and is permitted three supervised video or phone calls per week.

Recently, Kelley livestreamed a visit with two of the children, during which tensions were apparent.

In a separate update, their 16-year-old son Jackson posted on Instagram explaining that he no longer associates with his mother due to her erratic behavior and mental health struggles.

He defended his father, calling him “a spectacular father and a great man.”

Allegations and Divorce Background

Kelley had previously made public claims accusing Scott of abusing their children, which he denied.

In June, she was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold for erratic behavior and attempts to take the children out of the country, followed by another hold in July involving an incident with a knife.

Scott filed for divorce on June 9 after 21 years of marriage.

Under a temporary court order in July, he was required to provide Kelley with $10,000 per month for living expenses and some legal fees.
