Imagine losing something deeply personal and then finding it on another continent.

That’s exactly what happened to Keanu Reeves, whose one-of-a-kind Rolex — a heartfelt nod to his John Wick crew — has turned up in an unexpected place: Chile.

A Break-In That Shocked Hollywood

Back in 2023, Keanu’s Los Angeles mansion was hit by a group of masked burglars while he was away.

The intruders ransacked the place, making off with valuables that included a nearly $10,000 Rolex engraved with a thank-you message from the John Wick: Chapter 4 set.

The words etched into the back? “2021, JW4, thank you, The John Wick Five.”

It wasn’t just a luxury watch—it was a personal token the actor had gifted to his film crew.

From LA to Santiago: An International Sting

The case took a wild turn last year when Chilean police, working alongside the FBI, recovered six of Keanu’s watches during a sting operation in Santiago.

The Rolex wasn’t the only high-value item they found.

Authorities also seized stolen cars, iPhones, and a collection of designer handbags.

This major bust was part of a broader investigation into a South America-based crime ring known for targeting celebrity homes—including those of Reeves and NFL star Travis Kelce, who’s been romantically linked to Taylor Swift.

Jewelry Returned, Justice Still Unfolding

On Wednesday, Chilean authorities handed over $125,000 worth of recovered jewelry to the FBI.

The plan? To get those items back into the hands of their rightful owner—Keanu Reeves.

While the full legal fallout is still developing, this marked a win for law enforcement and a relief for the actor, who had been deeply shaken by the break-in.

A Long History of Security Woes

Unfortunately, this wasn’t the first time Reeves’ Hollywood Hills home had been targeted.

A nearly identical scare happened back in 2014, when not one but two separate intruders broke onto his property.

One of them—a woman—stripped naked and jumped into his pool before being discovered by a cleaning crew. Keanu wasn’t home at the time.

Stalkers and Restraining Orders

Earlier in 2023, before the burglary, Reeves had already taken steps to boost his personal security.

He secured a temporary restraining order against Bryan Dixon, a man who had repeatedly trespassed onto his property.

Security footage reportedly showed Dixon climbing walls, smoking in the actor’s garden, and even napping in the backyard.

One morning, he returned and left a bizarre “gift”: a backpack containing a DNA test kit, allegedly meant to prove some imagined family connection to the actor.

Heightened Security, But Ongoing Threats

Following the repeated breaches, Reeves hired a private security firm to monitor the home around the clock.

But even that couldn’t stop the December 2023 break-in.

The unsettling nature of these incidents has forced the actor to stay vigilant, even as he juggles a demanding career and global fame.
